High pressure creating largely settled weather though some thundery showers thorugh east France into Switzerland.

Thursday
Heavy showers affecting central and eastern Spain on Thursday, thunderstorms too. Fair for Portugal with plenty of sunshine. Heavy thunderstorms for Ibiza, but fair in Majorca and Menorca. Corsica and Sardinia should be fair, as will be Italy with more sunshine. Greece should be dry and sunny. Showers in central Turkey, fair west and east.
A few showers in southern France, fair elsewhere with sunny spells. Plenty of sunshine and dry weather to come in the Low Countries and Germany. A few showers in eastern Poland but fair to the west. Rain may affect eastern Hungary. Fine for Austria and Switzerland.
Cool and sunny for Denmark. Some cloud and a few spots of rain in Sweden. Rain too for Finland, this followed by some wintry showers. Bright in the Baltic States with some sunshine. Rain for the north and west of Norway but fair to the south with more sunshine here.

Friday
A few heavier showers affecting north and east Spain but generally dry, fine and warm elsewhere here and through Poland. Dry and sunny too for the Balearics, Italy and the surrounding islands. Some thundery showers for manland Greece and Turkey but largely dry across the islands.
Southern parts of France still showery while northern regions mainly dry with good sunshine about. A few of these showers affecting southern parts of Switzerland into the far northwest of Italy but dry and fine through Austria, Germany, Poland and down the Balkans.
Mostly fine across Scandinavia though some wintry showers affecting northern parts of Norway and Sweden. Dry and fine with light winds for Denmark and the Baltic region.
