Heavy thunderstorms Spain, fair Italy and much of northern Europe

Wednesday
Heavy thunderstorms and rain developing across Spain and Portugal today. A scattering of showers in the Balearics too. Fair for most of Italy, although some showers in the northeast. Greece and Turkey should be mostly fair, however showers in northern Turkey.
Breezy for France with sunny spells here. Fair for the Low Countries. Cloudier skies in the east and south of Germany, a risk of some patchy rain here. Staying rather cloudy for Poland with further light rain. More persistent rain in Hungary and Austria although brighter for Switzerland with good spells of sunshine.
Denmark should be fine with sunny spells. Staying fair in the Baltic States with more sunshine. Finland will be bright and mostly dry, although a few showers in the north. Some rain in northern Norway, although fair in the south.

Thursday
Heavy showers affecting central and eastern Spain on Thursday, thunderstorms too. Fair for Portugal with plenty of sunshine. Heavy thunderstorms for Ibiza, but fair in Majorca and Menorca. Corsica and Sardinia should be fair, as will be Italy with more sunshine. Greece should be dry and sunny. Showers in central Turkey, fair west and east.
A few showers in southern France. Fair for most of France though with sunny spells. Plenty of sunshine and dry weather to come in the Low Countries and Germany. A few showers in eastern Poland but fair to the west. Rain may affect eastern Hungary. Fine for Austria and Switzerland.
Cool and sunny for Denmark. Some cloud and a few spots of rain in Sweden. Rain too for Finland, this followed by some wintry showers. Bright in the Baltic States with some sunshine. Rain for the north and west of Norway but fair to the south with more sunshine here.
