Rain in Spain and parts of eastern Europe, mostly fair central Mediterranean

Tuesday
Cloud and rain pushes in across Spain and Portugal, heaviest rainfall towards the north and through Portugal as well as central areas of Spain. Dry and fine for the Balearic islands, much of Italy and the surrounding islands. Greece and Turkey also look to stay dry, sunny and warm.
Largely dry with sunshine across France today as well as the Low Countries though feeling cooler here. Some heavy rainfall towards southern regions of Germany, drier further north. Scattered showers across Switzerland and Austria with still snow over higher ground, though improving later in the day. Largely dry across Poland with sunny spells.
Chilly across Scandinavia with a mix of rain and snow showers across Norway into parts of Sweden though Sweden will be mostly dry. Largely dry too across Finland, the Baltics and Denmark with sunny spells.

Wednesday
Heavy thunderstorms and rain developing across Spain and Portugal today. A scattering of showers in the Balearics too. Fair for most of Italy, although some showers in the northeast. Greece and Turkey should be mostly fair, although some showers in northern Turkey.
Breezy for France with sunny spells here. Fair for the Low Countries. Cloudier skies in the east and south of Germany, a risk of some patchy rain here. Staying rather cloudy for Poland with further light rain. More persistent rain in Hungary and Austria although brighter for Switzerland with good spells of sunshine.
Denmark should be fine with sunny spells. Staying fair in the Baltic States with more sunshine. Finland will be bright and mostly dry, although a few showers in the north. Some rain in northern Norway, although fair in the south.
