More heavy snow into the Alps, strong winds
A cold day in northern Spain with periods of rain and showers. Rain moves across southeastern Spain, some thundery bursts passing eastwards toward the Balearics later. Mostly dry but windy for Sardinia, Corsica and southern Italy. Rain for northern Italy, heavy snow into the western Alps. Greece should be bright with sunny spells, brief showers affecting western parts of Turkey.
Chilly in France with showers near coasts in the west and north. Heavy rain for southern France, mountain snow. Showers near the coasts for the Low Countries. Bright in much of Germany, dry with sunny spells. Some rain and snow to the southeast of Germany into Czechia. Poland will be fair with sunny spells. Rain affecting Austria and Hungary, some of it heavy.
Sunshine and brief showers for Denmark but chilly. The chilly weather continues in the Baltic States where there will be snow showers. Further snow showers in Finland as well as eastern Sweden. Much of Norway and Sweden stay dry but very cold.
Showery and cool in northern Spain, but largely dry for central and southern Spain. Odd showers may run into coasts of Portugal. Low pressure over northern Italy brings strong winds and heavy rain, plus heavy mountain snow, which extends into Slovenia and Austria. Showery for southern Italy. Dry and breezy for Greece and Turkey.
Showers for the northern coasts of France, the Low Countries and Germany. Mainly dry through central France and western Germany. Snow for southeast Germany and Czechia, extending into southern Poland. Strong easterly winds and snowfalls for the Alps into Switzerland. Dry for Romania and Bulgaria.
Very cold weather continues across Scandinavia. Largely dry, but some snow showers near to coasts, especially in the east of Sweden and southwest Norway. Local showers for Denmark but also sunny spells.
