Torrential thunderstorms in central Europe, better to the north and south

Wednesday
Heavy showers in northern Spain on Wednesday. Fair for much of the rest of Spain and Portugal. Corsica and Sardinia will be dry and fine. Scattered showers over Italy. Greece should be fine with plenty of sunshine. Fair in western and southern Turkey but some showers inland.
Heavy showers and some longer spells of rain in France. Mostly fair in the Low Countries. Some rain in eastern parts of Germany, showers in the west. Rain for Poland, some heavy and thundery. Rain, heavy at times in Hungary. Austria will have heavy showers in the west, Switzerland will have torrential thunderstorms.
Cloud and rain in southern Denmark,fair in the north. The Baltic States will have scattered showers. Fair for Finland with plenty of sunshine and dry weather. Mostly fair for Sweden with more sunshine here. Fine for Norway, dry and sunny.

Thursday
Fair through Spain and Portugal today with lots of sunshine and very warm too. Italy will be dry with plenty of sunshine, although some showers in the far north. Greece will be hot and sunny as well as dry. Some heavy showers in eastern Turkey but dry in the west.
Heavy and persistent thundery showers in France, these torrential in places. Further heavy showers in the Low Countries, although drier in coasts. Germany will have heavy and thundery showers in the west but drier in the east. Scattered showers in Poland and Austria. Heavy and thundery showers in Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark will be bright and mostly dry. Scattered showers in the Baltic States. A few showers in southern Finland, dry elsewhere with sunny spells. Scattered showers in southern Sweden, drier and sunnier north. Some heavy showers for southern Norway, dry and fine in the north of Norway.
