Windy and unsettled north, drier to the south but some showers in eastern Spain

Thursday
Heavy, thundery showers affect eastern parts of Spain including the Balearics throughout the day. Elsewhere across Spain as well as Portugal will be mostly dry and fine. Dry and fine with sunshine across Italy, the islands as well as much of Greece. One or two showers for Turkey and Corfu.
Central and northern Europe is expected to be largely dry and fine and feeling pleasantly warm as higher pressure is the dominating weather feature, though it does look breezy along the coasts of Holland and Germany.
High and gusty winds across Denmark with scattered showers here but also sunny spells. Gale force to strong gales across southern Norway and south Sweden across the Baltics and throughout Finland. Largely dry though frequent heavy showers across west Norway.

Friday
Heavy showers for northern and northeastern Spain. Fair in central and southern areas with plenty of sunshine. Heavy thunderstorms through the Balearics. Corsica and Sardinia will be dry and bright with sunny spells. Fair for Italy with lots of sunshine too. More sunshine for Greece although cool with some showers in Turkey.
France should be dry with sunny spells. Some showers in the far south of France. Windy for the Low Countries with some rain in the north. Germany should be dry and bright with sunny spells. Poland will be dry too with more sunshine to come. Fair in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland with sunny periods.
Windy and wet in Denmark. The Baltic States will be windy and bright. Staying windy in Finland with some showers or rain. Windy too in Sweden with rain in the south. Heavy showers in Norway, wintry in the north.
