It will be rather wet and windy for much of northern Europe while the western Mediterranean will see the best of the sunshine


Sunday
Fair over most of Spain and Portugal today. There will be sunny spells and it should be dry. The Balearics will be dry and bright too. Scattered showers in Corsica and Sardinia where it will be windy too. Sunny spells and isolated showers for Italy. Greece will be dyr with sunny spells whilst heavy showers trouble the Balkans, the west of Turkey and Crete.
Breezy with some rain followed by showers in northern France. Southern France should be brighter with sunny spells. Heavier and more persistent wintry showers together with cooler weather in the Low Countries and Germany, some of the showers being wintry in nature. More showers across Poland with rain in Switzerland and Austria. Heavy snowfall expected for the Alps.
Low pressure brings a mix of sunny spells and wintry showers to Denmark. More snow showers for the Baltic States and Finland where it will be breezy too. Further wintry showers for northern Sweden. Breezy and chilly in Norway with snow showers in the north and west.

Monday
Staying dry but rather overcast for much of Portugal, Spain and the Balearics. Dry and fine for Sardinia, Corsica and much of Italy. Some heavy showers for norther Sicily and the east coast of Italy through the afternoon. Heavy rain will move eastward across Greece and Turkey through the day with some particularly high rainfall totals expected in western Turkey.
Dry and fine for much of France though there will be a chance of a shower in the southeast. Showery too over the Low Countries where it will also be quite windy. Windy with wintry showers too for much of Germany and Poland.
Windy but mainly dry and bright for Denmark on Monday. Mainly overcast with sleet and snow showers for southern Finland and southern Sweden while heavy snowfall over the west coast of Norway will ease through the day.
