Thundery northern Spain with further storms in eastern Mediterranean

Tuesday
Largely dry through Spain and Portugal though a few scattered showers in the north here cannot be completely ruled out. The Balearics will also be dry, fine and feeling very warm. Southern regions of Italy as well as much of Greece will see developing thunderstorms and heavy showers. Northern regions of Italy will be mostly dry and fine. Turkey will also be mostly dry and feeling hot.
Much of northern Europe will be dry and fine with plenty of sunshine about. One or two isolated showers may develop across the Alpine region, while eastern Euorpe will continue to see heavy rain and thunderstorms, these becoming confined to the far east.
High pressure sits over Scandinavia bringing mostly dry and fine weather, though thundery showers, often heavy downpours, will affect the Baltic States pushing into the very far south of Finland later in the day.

Wednesday
Torrential thunderstorms in northern parts of Spain today. Fair in central and southern areas as well as through Portugal. Fair for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia as well as northern Italy. Southern Italy may have a few showers. Heavy thunderstorms in Greece. Some thunderstorms in western Turkey, fair in central and eastern areas.
Thunderstorms in southwest France. Fair elsewhere with sunny spells. More sunshine to come in the Low Countries. Germany will ba fair too with more sunshine here. Thunderstorms across Poland, extending into Hungary. Austria and Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells.
Denmark will be fair with lots of sunshine. Some thunderstorms in the Baltic States. Showers across Finland. Sweden will have a fine day with sunshine here. Some rainin southwest Norway. Fine elsewhere with sunshine.
