Today
Overall a cool day across much of Europe with the warmest temperatures expected to be in the south of Spain and Portugal. A fine, dry day to come across Portugal and Spain with a few showers near the north east coast of Spain. A few showers may show up later in the day around the Balearics. An intense area of rain with a risk of flooding moves into southern Italy with the north fair and dry. Another area of intense rain across Austria and Hungary and also Croatia spreads into all of the Adriatic Region later in the day. There is also a risk of flooding here. For France, The Low Counties and Germany it too will be unsettled with showers and longer spells of rain. Another area of moderate to heavy rain moves across Poland into southern Finland and southern parts of Sweden and Norway. Mainly dry today across the Baltic States while rain is expected across Russia. Lots of dry, sunny weather to come across Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey and a mainly dry as well into Romania and The Ukraine.

It remains chilly across a large part of Europe. Outbreaks of rain will affect England, northern parts of France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and later Austria. Mostly sunny and dry across Portugal, Spain, southern parts of France across the Balearics into Corsica, Sardinia and northern Italy. Rain and showers are expected across The Adriatic Region, southern, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Romania and The Czech Republic. The rain will be heavy. Heavy showers are forecast across Greece while Turkey is to remain fine and dry. Dry as well into the Ukraine, western Russia, The Baltic States and into Finland and Sweden. Cold across Scandinavia with a few wintry showers over the high ground of Norway.
