Showers affecting many areas, very warm across the Mediterranean


Friday
Hot and sunny across Spain today with similar conditions in Portugal. Staying fair across the central Mediterranean too. Showers affecting central and southwestern Italy, some heavy. Showers too developing over northern Greece and western and southern parts of Turkey. Elsewhere in the eastern Mediterranean it should stay dry and sunny.
Fine and dry over much of France and very warm. Some rain in the far northwest. Mostly fair for the Low Countries but some showers developing over the Netherlands while thundery rain and showers develop over eastern Germany. Showers spreading into western Poland too though the east should be dry and warm with plenty of sunshine. Austria and Hungary are also at risk of some showers.
Cloud and outbreaks of rain, some of them thundery across Denmark. Further showers, some of them heavy in southern parts of Sweden and Norway. Dry with sunny spells in the Baltic States and much of Finland away from the far southeast. Dry and bright over northern parts of Norway and Sweden.

Saturday
Continuing mostly hot, dry and sunny over western parts of the Mediterranean though central parts of Spain and eastern parts of Corsica and Sardinia are at risk of a showers or two. Showery too for southwestern Italy, northern Greece and western Turkey but, on the whole, a hot and sunny day.
A band of heavy rain grazes the northern coast of France while scattered showers affect southern and eastern parts of the country. Showers, some of them heavy, moving across the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Mostly dry and fair for eastern Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary with showery outbreaks affecting western Poland and Slovakia.
Outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, affecting Denmark through much of the day and sweeping into southern parts of Norway and southwestern Sweden later. A mostly dry and bright day for the rest of Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltic States.
