Otherwise low pressure will continue to dominate, especially across the British Isles where showers or longer spells of rain are forecast. Similar conditions extend down in to France with rain or showers here, perhaps with some thunderstorms too across more eastern areas of France and into Belgium and western areas of Germany during the afternoon. Pressure may well slowly rise across Portugal and Spain during the day so potentially drier and brighter here than compared with Saturday, but still cool for the time of year, while much of the Med, along with eastern areas of Europe remain rather warm and humid but with afternoon downpours and thunderstorms developing.

Monday
During Monday and high pressure will continue to maintain mainly dry and pleasantly warm conditions across Norway, Sweden and Finland but with some scattered afternoon showers possible. Elsewhere though and it is low pressure that remain influential, bringing some rain or showers to the British Isles and down into France. Some drier and brighter weather across Spain and Portugal but a moderate or fresh north or north-easterly wind maintaining rather cool weather here for the time of year. Low pressure will develop and dominate through much of the Med, centered near to Italy. It is across Italy where some heavy rain, showers and thunderstorms are possible, along with Balearic Islands and across Sardinia and Corsica. Some sunny spells further east across Turkey and Greece, along with surrounding countries, but afternoon downpours and thunderstorms possible.
