Heavy rain developing and pushing north across NW Europe

Thursday
A drier and somewhat brighter day for Portugal though northern regions still seeing more cloud cover and some patchy rain moving into northwest Spain. A few showers developing over central and eastern Spain, otherwise largely dry here. Dry and fine across the Balearic islands as well as through Italy and Greece. Some developing showers across parts of south and west Tukrey but drier towards the north.
A drier morning across France but heavy showers look to develop centrally and further east in the afternoon. These extend into Switzerland and parts of Austria. Largely dry and fine through the Low Countries and Germany. Rain clearing Poland in the afternoon. Dry for the Czech Republic. A few showers affecting the Balkans but mainly dry here.
Showery rain looking to affect central and western areas of Norway, drier elsewhere with sunny spells. Some rain across southern and western Sweden too. Much cloud and outbreaks of rain across Finland, heavy in the north. Rain clearing Denmark as well as the Blatic states to see a drier afternoon.

Dry and fine across southern Portugal but some patchy rain still affecting the far north here. Heavier rain across northwest Spain with one or two showers across eastern areas. Drier elsewhere. Dry, fine and sunny across the Balearic islands and much of Italy, though the odd shower cannot be completely rueld out here. Dry too for Greece but some developing showers across Turkey.
Scattered showers across France but mostly dry. Showers likely though to turn heavy in the east later. Switzerland seeing heavy rain for a time. Drier across Austria though rain movng in to western areas here later. Rain also pushing into Belgium but staying largely dry across the Netherlands. Heavy showers moving in to south Germany but staying dry further north. Dry and fine across Poland.
Improving across Norway but still some showery rain about across Sweden and Finland. Dry and fine through Denmark with good sunshine across the Baltic States.
