Cold Scandinavia with showers in the eastern Mediterranean, fair to the west


Tuesday
Today the warmest temperatures will be found across Iberia with eastern parts of Europe staying quite chilly. Dry with sunny skies across Portugal and Spain. Lots of showers to affect France, Belgium, Austria, the Adriatic Region and much of the Balkans. Across the Adriatic these will be heavy with thunderstorms. A number of heavy showers will also develop across Italy, Sardinia, Crete and parts of Greece. Fine and dry across Turkey, The Ukraine, most of Russia, The Baltic States into Finland. Mostly fair and dry across Poland with a few scattered showers in the east.
Heavy showers to affect southern parts of Germany with the north dry. Dry as well across The Netherlands and Denmark. Snow showers are likely across western parts of Norway with some patchy rain across Sweden.


Wednesday
Showers affecting eastern coasts of Spain on Wednesday. Elsewhere the day should be fair with sunny spells. The Balearics are set to have a fair day too with some good spells of sunshine. Heavy showers developing in Italy and Greece with a risk of thunderstorms. Turkey will be mostly dry with sunny spells although there will be soe showers in the west.
A chillier day in France but one that will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Fair too in the Low Countries and Germany although rather breezy here. Poland will have rain clearing south to be followed by showers. These heavy showers affect Hungary and Austria too as well as Switzerland.
Denmark is cold and breezy with sunny spells. Some rain in southern Sweden and the Baltic States. Showers in Finland, some heavy but staying dry in northern Sweden. Norway will be breezy with showers in the north, but drier to the south and cold for all.
