Thundery showers and longer spells of rain in central Europe and northern Spain, cold north

Thursday
Unsettled across Spain and Portugal today. Heavy showers, some of these thundery with longer spells of rain too. Further showers through the Balearics, and these could be heavy. Corsica and Sardinia will be fine with sunny spells. More sunshine across Italy, but some showers in the north. Greece and Turkey will be dry with lots of sunshine.
Heavy showers or longer spells of rain and thunderstorms in the south of France, dry and bright in northern France. The Low Countries may have a scattered showers, but these may be heavy in northern Germany. Poland is likely to be bright with some sunny spells. Fair too in Hungary. Austria and Switzerland will have heavy showers, some thundery.
Denmark will have sunny spells, but then some heavy showers developing. The Baltic States will be cold with some sunny intervals. Scattered showers in Finland and sunny spells too. Fine across Sweden with more sunshine. Wintry showers over northern coasts of Norway but dry to the south.

Friday
Heavy, thundery showers affecting much of northern and eastern Spain on Friday. Portugal will be brighter, an isolated shower here. Bright for the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Fine for much of Italy with some good spells of sunshine, although some heavy showers in the far north. Greece and Turkey should be dry with sunny spells throughout.
Staying unsettled in southern and central France with heavy showers affecting these areas. Bright for the ow Countries, whilst a few showers affect northern and western Germany. Poland will have scattered showers but should be mostly fine. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland will be unsettled with heavy showers, some of them thundery.
A few showers affect western Denmark but the east will be dry. Sweden should be fine with good spells of sunshine.The Baltic States and Finland will be cold and bright as well as staying dry. Wintry showers affeting northern and western coasts of Norway, but dry to the south.
