Low pressure arrives over western Europe on Monday
A dry and fair day for Portugal, Spain and the Balearic Islands. The best of the sun to the east. Sunny spells and scattered showers affect Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily and Italy while Greece stays largely dry and bright. Patchy rain and cloud affect the western half of Turkey while the east is dry and sunny.
Mostly dry and fair for France. Cloudier to the north with isolated showers. Mostly cloudy for the Low Countries and Germany with patchy, light rain for northern areas. Dry and fine for Switzerland. Cloudy for Poland with a band of patchy rain sweeping southeastward over the country. Cloudy too for the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia with scattered showers.
Mixed for Denmark with sunny spells and scattered showers. A band of rain clears east over the Baltic States to leave a sunny afternoon here with isolated showers. An area of rain and snow swirls over northern Sweden and much of Finland while southern Sweden stays dry and fine. Dry and fine for much of Norway though showers affect coastal regions.
Increasing cloudy over Portugal and western Spain on Monday with a band of heavy rain arriving here later. Staying dry and fine to the east of Spain and for the Balearic Islands. Mostly dry and fine for Italy though a few showers may develop to the south and over Sicily. Thundery showers flare up around the Aegeaen Sea affecting parts of Greece and Turkey.
Increasingly cloudy over France, Switzerland, the Low Countries and Germany as low pressure approaches. Winds pick up too with patchy rain arriving to the far west of France later. Staying dry elsewhere. Fair conditions over Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and southern Poland. Cloudier over northern Poland with scattered showers here.
Rather cloudy and breezy for Denmark with rain arriving to the north later. Wintry showers affect northern parts of the Baltic States but with spells of sunshine in between. Wintry showers affect Finland and northern Sweden too as well as coastal regions of Norway. Rain arrives over southern parts of Norway and Sweden later.
