An unsettled pattern continues for western Europe
Showers for northern Spain through Wednesday, some of which will be wintry over the Pyrenees, but elsewhere in Iberia it should be a mostly dry and bright day. A chance of showers for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia though there will be some good sunny spells too. Another showery day for Italy and southwestern parts of Greece and Turkey too.
A wet day for France with some particularly heavy bursts of rain and snow in the southeast. Showers will affect Benelux throughout the day. A showery day for Germany too with some heavy bursts of rain in the west later. The Swiss Alps could see some heavy snowfall while Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland should see a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers.
Continuing showery for Denmark while the Baltic States will see a dry and bright day. Staying dry for Finland too though there will be some cloud around here. Some wintry showers around for southern Norway and central parts of Sweden but elsewhere it will be dry, if a little overcast at times.
A dry and bright start to the day for Portugal and Spain before a band of heavy rain moves into the western half of Iberia. A dry and bright day for the Balearics. After a wet start, the day will end brightly for Corsica and Sardinia. Some heavy bursts of thundery rain affecting Italy through the afternoon while heavy showers will move into western parts of Greece too. Heavy showers affecting southern parts of Turkey too throughout the day.
Heavy rain and snow should clear southeastern France before a band of heavy rain moves into the northwest of the country. Dry and bright for central parts of France though. Mostly overcast with a chance of showers for the Low Countries. Cloudy too for Germany with showers in the west. Further heavy snowfall is expected for the Swiss Alps while showers will affect Austria. Mostly dry and bright for Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
A cloudy day for Denmark with a chance of showers in the west. Dry and bright for the Baltic States. A band of rain, sleet and snow will stretch from central Sweden across central and northern Finland. Elsewhere in Scandinavia it should be dry with some good sunny spells.
