Heavy rain with thunderstorms across France
Plenty of sunshine for Spain and Portugal on Thursday, remaining very warm and dry. Fine too in the central Mediterranean. Corsica and Sardinia should have decent days with plenty of sunshine. Greece and Turkey staying dry and sunny throughout.
Heavy, thundery rain developing across much of central and northern France. The Netherlands will be breezy and dry. Fair for Germany and Poland with lots of sunshine and staying warm here. Fair too in Hungary, although scattered showers for Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark should have a fair day with sunshine. Some showers and cloud feeding into the Baltic States making for cold conditions here. Further showers and a strong breeze for Finland. Feeling chilly in Sweden with some showers in the east but fair for most of the country. Fine for Norway, staying dry with sunny spells.
Mostly dry and fine again across Spain and Portugal, though the far northern coastal regions could see more cloud and drizzle. the odd shower cannot be ruled out through Menorca, otherwise dry and fine across the Balearics. Much of Italy also seeing plenty of sun and staying mostly dry though a few isolated showers are liekly to develop later. Scattered showers in Greece and Turkey but many staying dry.
Heavy, thundery rain becomes confined across eastern areas of France into south and west Belgium. Dry though breezy through the Netherlands and Germany. Poland and Czechia also staying dry and fine. Heavy, thundery showers moving in to Switzerland but staying mostly dry across Austria.
Denmark becomes breezier though should stay mostly dry. Largely dry across Norway and Sweden though a few showers will be slow moving across parts of the south. Windy across Finland, particularly the north, with showery rain for some and feeling chilly. Largely dry across the Baltics.
