An unsettled spell of weather for northern Europe with strong winds and outbreaks of rain
A few showers in eastern Spain today, but fair for most of Iberia. Scattered showers in the Balearics with heavier showers in Corsica. Italy will have showers in central and southern areas but should be dry to the north. Greece will be dry with sunny spells and it should be mostly dry for Turkey too away from the southeast.
A fair day for much of France once morning fog patches have cleared. Rain in northern France. This rain and wind extends into the Low Countries as well as northern parts of Germany and Poland. Southern Poland, Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Switzerland should be dry with sunny spells.
Wind and some rain in Denmark. The Baltic States will be windy with outbreaks of rain too. Chilly for Finland with rain to the south. More chilly weather in much of Sweden with some showers to the south. Rain in western parts of Norway.
A dry, bright day for Portugal, Spain and the Balearic Islands. Mostly dry and bright too for Italy with just isolated showers for central areas. Outbreaks of rain for western Greece ease to leave a dry and bright day here. Dry and bright too for Turkey.
Scattered showers for central parts of France and northern Germany but otherwise fair across France, the Low Countries and Germany. Cloudy with outbreaks of rain for Poland and the Czech Republic as well as northern parts of Switzerland and Austria.
A cloudy day for Denmark with isolated showers. Cloudy with rain for the Baltic States and southern Finland. Rain turns to snow further north. Rain clears east from Sweden to leave a dry and bright afternoon here. Dry and bright too for much of Norway away from western coasts.
