Heavy rain and thunderstorms quickly developing across northeast Spain/southeast France on Friday

Thursday
Scattered thunderstorms across eastern Spain and particularly affecting southeastern regions. A few drifting over the Balearic islands. Thunderstorms also gathering across southern and western regions of Italy and the islands. Largely dry and fine through Greece and Turkey.
France will be fair with plenty of sunshine and it should be dry here too while feeling relatively warm. Much of the rest of northern and central Europe will be dry with sunny spells. A few scattered showers in eastern Poland and Hungary. The Balkan States also dry and fine.
Spells of heavy rain moving in to west Norway. Eastern areas should be dry though with building cloud. Dry and fine with sunny spells across Sweden, Finland and the Baltics. Denmark will also see a fair day though will become breezier later on in the northwest.

Friday
Heavy, thundery rain develops across northeast Spain, the Balearics and into southeast France later on Friday. Otherwise here expect a largely dry day though showery rain moving in to far northwestern areas. Some showers developing across Sicily later. Mainly Italy wil be mainly dry and fine. Dry and sunny across Greece and Turkey.
Far western regions of Belgium and Holland will see outbreaks of rain by the afternoon, if not earlier. Dry though with building cloud elsewhere across the Low Countries. Dry with sunny spells across Germany, Poland and the rest of eastern Europe. Cloudier with the risk of some showers through west Switzerland, otherwise dry and fine. Dry and sunny for Austria too.
Spells of rain continue to push eastwards across Norway and into Sweden though southern Sweden does look to remain dry and mostly fine. Denmark too largely dry though with building cloud in the west here. Rain by late afternoon/evening. A few scattered showers across the Baltics. Windy through Finland though dry with sunny spells.
