A hot, dry and sunny spell of weather for many across Europe
Showers affecting the north of Spain and western Portugal on Wednesday. Most of Iberia will be dry with hot sunshine. Fine in the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Some showers over southern Italy and northern Greece but mostly hot and dry. Fine and hot too for Turkey.
Hot through France with good spells of sunshine. A few showers through the morning for Brittany and Normandy. Fine too in the Low Countries and Germany and staying hot. More fine and hot weather to come across Poland and Hungary. Austria and Switzerland will all be dry with more sunshine.
A few outbreaks of rain for Denmark with some sunny spells at times. Rain, some of it heavy and thundery in southern Sweden. The Baltic States and Finland may have scattered, thundery showers whilst Norway should be mostly dry and sunny.
A few light showers for northwestern parts of Spain but elsewhere across Spain and Portugal it will be dry, hot and sunny. Dry, hot and sunny too for the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia, and Italy. A few scattered, perhaps thundery, showers for southern Italy and Sicily. A few showers for southwestern Turkey but elsewhere across the country and for Greece it will continue fair and hot.
Continuing hot, sunny and dry across much of central Europe on Thursday including France, Benelux, Germany and the Czech Republic. Thunder showers flaring up through the afternoon for parts of Austria and Hungary.
A wet and windy day for the Baltic States with a few rumbles of thunder possible. Dry and fair for much of Sweden and Denmark with good sunny spells. Rain, some of it heavy, clearing to the southeast of Finland through the day while Norway should be mostly dry and fair away from its west coast.
