Today
Chilly temperatures prevail across much of mainland Europe but warm across south east Europe. An unsettled day with showers and longer spells of rain across England, France, The Low Countries and Germany. Heavy rain is expected across Switzerland, Austria, southern Germany and the Czech Republic. Fine and dry across Denmark, Poland, The Baltic States, Finland, Sweden, Norway and most of Russia. Just the odd heavy shower develops late in the day across The Adriatic Region, Romania and the Ukraine but mainly dry here. A warm day across Turkey with heavy showers and sunny spells. Fine and sunny across Greece and most of Italy. A better day across Spain and Portugal with sunny spells and dry.



Tuesday
Hotter across Iberia today and warmer too across much of the Balkans and southern Russia. Summery across Portugal and Spain with sunny skies. It continues unsettled with heavy morning rain followed by frequent heavy showers with a risk of thunder across France. Heavy rain to affect Belgium, The Netherlands and northern parts of Germany and showers in the south. Showers are expected across parts of Poland, Hungary and Serbia. Dry across the rest of the Balkans and Adriatic Region. Heavy showers with thunder are likely across Turkey. Fair and dry across the Ukraine, Belarus, The Baltic States and western Russia. Chilly but dry across Norway, Denmark and Sweden with snow for northern Finland, dry in the south. A number of showers are forecast across central parts of Italy, dry to the north and south with sunny spells.
